MHIG takes the time to support those in need

Systems in Motion’s employees were happy to give back to the community this holiday season. This year we participated in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree. We chose 20 kids of various ages and our “elves” went to work shopping for the top item from their wish lists. Between the employees’ donations and a very generous company match, we were left with money to spend with all the angels accounted for. We quickly contacted the Salvation Army and asked what more we could do. We were informed that the infants can always use some developmental toys and toys to help with walking. So, the elves hopped in their sleigh again and were off to the store where they filled two carts to the point they were overflowing and filled their sleigh to the roof. It never ceases to amaze us at the willingness and eagerness of our Systems in Motion family to give back to those in need. We find a problem and work to provide a solution. Helping to give kids a nice Christmas and bring a smile to their face, is a perfect way to end 2020. Recent Installation of Pallet Rack in Wisconsin

Recent Pallet Rack installation in with 40' tall uprights completed in Wisconsin. This project has VNA (Very Narrow Aisle), 40 foot tall uprights, and end of aisle guard rail. The 48" deep uprights created the much needed warehouse space for the customer to continue their expansion.

Rack Safety Inspections

Periodic rack inspections by a qualified individual are important to maintain a safe environment. Pallet racking can take abuse in a number of forms. Of course the most common is the fork truck damage. One area that is commonly overlooked is overloading your racks. Beams that are overloaded become weaker. Since the Beams are critical to the overall health of your system it is imperative bowed or damaged beams are replaced. MHIG in Atlanta for Modex 2020

MHIG exhibited for the first time at MODEX in Atlanta for MODEX2020. It was a great experience and we look forward to making this a tradition. We made a number of new friends and caught up with the ones we have known for a while. One key takeaway - Padded carpeting is essential for standing and talking all day long. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and said Hello.
